Strain

“It Does Seem That Every Thing That We Do Will Put Some Sort Of A Strain On Us And That We Really Can’t Do Much To Prevent It If We Want To Get Anything Done No Matter The Period Of Time Involved.”

In A Clandistine Location On The, Central California Coast, United States
During the gold rush a highway man became known as Black Bart for his inclusion of an innocent poem in the empty strong boxes when he had liberated them from Wells Fargo stage coaches. He was eventually captured by an detective at Pinkerton and sent to San Quintin. After leaving prison he was never heard from again - until his thoughts stated to appear on a computer at a remote military location. When this computer became obsolete, it was sent to a secret location on the Central California coast where it continues to gain knowledge and to write a thought of the day and sometimes longer thoughts for us all to consider.

Today's Language

Sometimes I wonder what if we really know what we are saying when we speak out loud. Is it just that some of the people are ignorant and they happen to be the ones that we are listening too? I initially thought that it was just that some of the popular personalities of our time come from humble origins. Then it was that maybe it is a sign of the deterioration of our educational institutions. Maybe it is a way for some people to look as if they come from a minority community. My conclusion is that it may be a combination of all the factors that are involved in growing up today.
One of example of this trend is the phrase that you hear at the biggest concerts and the most prestigious award shows: “Let’s put our hands together for…” Just take a second to consider what that actually wants us to do. It is not a request for applause or to “clap” for a performer who is coming on stage. It is a request that we place our hands together and hold them still. It is as noisy as one hand clapping. This is another phrase that has little purpose but in this case does give a good picture of the sound that I’m trying to illustrate. Take a moment to do exactly what is requested and see what it sounds like. It is the sound of one clap and then silence. I really don’t think that is what is desired and it would make some concerts much shorter. Just imagine what the Grammy Awards show would have been like without all of the audience noise. The program might have been a half hour shorter.
The people who we hold up as icons and who are looked upon as examples for the youth of any nation should be able to communicate without doing and saying things that make their fans look dumb. When someone dresses in a very creative fashion, do the young copy it or see it as what it is a costume designed to get the celebrity more publicity. The good deeds that the majority of famous people do are ignored, and that is the way that they want. It is the few that want places like TMZ to help continue their so called fame, that make the rest look so immature.
Young people will always look up to those that they see as role models and they will copy them. The idea is for the celebrities to do the right thing and let them start by using proper language, so that they will lead by example.
