In A Clandistine Location On The, Central California Coast, United States
During the gold rush a highway man became known as Black Bart for his inclusion of an innocent poem in the empty strong boxes when he had liberated them from Wells Fargo stage coaches. He was eventually captured by an detective at Pinkerton and sent to San Quintin. After leaving prison he was never heard from again - until his thoughts stated to appear on a computer at a remote military location. When this computer became obsolete, it was sent to a secret location on the Central California coast where it continues to gain knowledge and to write a thought of the day and sometimes longer thoughts for us all to consider.

Nashville, Tennessee

Well, I Have finally done it!  I have now spent time in all fifty states and the winner is Tennessee.  Why that was the last one I have no real reason only that in the past I managed to miss it and have always heard that Nashville had some very significant places to see.  As a person who always loved different forms of music the concept of a radio station going from a program of grand opera to one of country music was a situation that may never happen again.  Going to the “National Barn Dance” from a program of opera, the radio station announce said “going from opera to grand old opry” and that was history in the making..  It will live forever in the name of that long lasting country radio/ TV/ live production.  That shows a limit to doing self-guided tours.  If you are more aware of the history of a location you will see what is missing on the tour and it really doesn’t do any good to correct the tour because no one likes a know it all.

I have still not determined which one I like the best.  I don't intend on dwelling on that question because I have no reason to grade the different states.  I do think that they all have high points and disappointing situations.  I really do like to visit most places but would not want to live in too many of them.

I find that most of the states have one thing in common and that is the people want you to like them even when you can see that you would never be friends with them on a personal long-term basis.  It seems that when you are a tourist the honest ones will let you know how they feel about an issue even if you don't want to hear what they exclaim about some outlandish political situation.  But they do want you to spend your money with them.  Fortunately, that is the minority of the people that you deal with while traveling.  Most are only trying to earn a living and so they treat every customer with the respect that they deserve and that could lead to the tourist spending more money and maybe actually tipping.

So, I think that I will now be more selective on my travels, and only visit those places that I find interesting.  I don’t mean only those locations I have seen but those I see will be interesting, fun or maybe even educational.
