It is harder to drive anywhere that you need to drive at any time of the day in every city in the world.
Most people seem to think that only when and where they drive is the traffic at a standstill. They speak as if they are the only ones that are being persecuted when they get into an automobile. We all do need to get to different places each day. It seems that it would be impossible to live a life where we did not need to leave home at any time and still enjoy our lives. This may be impossible but probably is possible for some people. The problem is that not many people could live without the products and services that we need from other people who do not deliver. That makes some sort of transportation a need for most people. When for whatever reason the desired form of transportation is not available it becomes a challenge to continue our lives at a normal pace. If we use public transportation then we can become stranded when operators go on strike. When agencies that run the transportation do not fund the organization properly it can stop or be curtailed. At the times that the fine point of a contract becomes more important then the people that use the service then it is just a game for the few and not a service for the many. A current strike in our area does not directly effect my ability to commute but it does show that both sides of a labor dispute must consider who is watching and waiting for a resolution while they talk. Statements that the other side is at fault or does not want to talk are not helpful. Both sides must consider the bigger picture. A little loss of sleep may be the way to end a dispute. In this case both sides seem to be close and talking and we do not know why they can not just find a way to finish so that their constituents can return to a normal life and not have to stay home from work because they can not find a way to get to work.
When all systems are working then it may be a good idea to provide enough transportation systems to allow people to get to their destinations without delaying others. Public transportation is a solution that seems to work in more congested areas. When the people in an area will not admit that they live in a big city and need a big city solution you have no movement to solve the problem. Buses do help in some ways and do clog the streets at other times. When bus riders organizations insist that only buses can solve the problem they ignore the fact that a subway can be built below traffic and carry a higher number of riders to the same destination area in much less time. It is up to the transportation planners to provide a convenient way to get the people to and from the subway so that they can really save time on their entire journey.
What is my point? People must work together to get this as any project to not just work but to make if efficient so that it works for the people that it is designed to work for.

Strain
“It Does Seem That Every Thing That We Do Will Put Some Sort Of A Strain On Us And That We Really Can’t Do Much To Prevent It If We Want To Get Anything Done No Matter The Period Of Time Involved.”

- Black Bart
- In A Clandistine Location On The, Central California Coast, United States
- During the gold rush a highway man became known as Black Bart for his inclusion of an innocent poem in the empty strong boxes when he had liberated them from Wells Fargo stage coaches. He was eventually captured by an detective at Pinkerton and sent to San Quintin. After leaving prison he was never heard from again - until his thoughts stated to appear on a computer at a remote military location. When this computer became obsolete, it was sent to a secret location on the Central California coast where it continues to gain knowledge and to write a thought of the day and sometimes longer thoughts for us all to consider.
