Veterans Day is an opportunity for all of us to remember the veterans that we know and the ones that we never met who have served and in some cases given their lives for us. I did serve my Country when it needed me to serve. I did not see combat and spent my time essentially waiting to see what the Communist governments would do next. I spent time in Korea while we wondered if the North Koreans would release the crew of the USS Pueblo or resume fighting the “police action” that they never have really ended. This gives me the strange honor of being a Korean War veteran and a Viet Nam veteran, since I did serve during that war. I feel humbled by those who did serve in more severe conditions and actual combat. This is especially true of my friends who were involved. So thank you all.
