People will ask how you voted on an issue and I always want to say something - but I really feel that that is none of anyones business. We have a system of voting that allows us to vote in private and not have others look over our shoulder and using that information to do things to us that makes us their servants.
We can not be paid in any way for our vote and the ballot is our own, not to be seen by others. We do not need to tell anyone how we voted and after we leave the privacy of the polling place should just ignore those who are asking questions and allow the count to show what the people want. I have a standard answer for survey takers of any type and generally do not even let them get to the point of telling me why they are taking the poll and it universally will stop them from asking any more questions. I just offer to sell them my information for $150.00 an hour with a 2 hour minimum. That is enough for most of them, the rest may want to work for me.
