Strain

In A Clandistine Location On The, Central California Coast, United States
During the gold rush a highway man became known as Black Bart for his inclusion of an innocent poem in the empty strong boxes when he had liberated them from Wells Fargo stage coaches. He was eventually captured by an detective at Pinkerton and sent to San Quintin. After leaving prison he was never heard from again - until his thoughts stated to appear on a computer at a remote military location. When this computer became obsolete, it was sent to a secret location on the Central California coast where it continues to gain knowledge and to write a thought of the day and sometimes longer thoughts for us all to consider.

Is It That Smart ????

I had a chance to see the new movie “Get Smart”. I have thought about writing about this movie and had thought that I might just skip it – but.
Should I completely agree with Angel (my wife) or not? My thinking is that they took a few things from the original TV concept and did use a few of the key lines of the series. My best feeling came at the end of the credits when they did acknowledge Don Adams and Edward Platt who were the center of the original series. They changed the focus from a spoof of early television that was the key to the series, to a comedy version of all the action movies that we see today. Don't get me wrong, it has great special effects and great action. As usual I give a lot of credit to all of those who did the stunts and driving for the film. It is not a re-creation of the TV series, but it is a good spoof of the movies of today, especially the "Borne" series. I had a good time, most of the time, but when they showed a SUV burning and traveling on the Los Angeles railroad tracks it reminded me of a recent painful event in Los Angeles. It may not have been filmed in the same location, but it was similar in appearance. The actual incident involved a Metrolink train hitting an SUV that was drenched in gasoline and it resulted in 190 injuries and 11 deaths. That case is now in court and the jury is determining the fate of the person who caused the incident. He has already been convicted of first degree murder.
I think that it is a great movie for most to see, just don’t invite anyone who had a relative on that Metrolink train or who knows all of those people.
