It has come to my attention that the work that my son Justin has done to help our community has not been recognized by the local community. During the time he has spent at Saugus High School he has worked to aid the school, his church and the local community in innumerable ways.
At Blessed Katari Catholic Church he has become a member of the team that does the audio for the weekend mass schedule. This has lead to him becoming a part of the team that is working on preparing the audio facilities for the new building that is now under construction. They are also working to prepare for whatever audio or video facilities that the church will need to bring its message to all of the local community in whatever media comes in the future.
In the community he works as a member of the 782 Air Force Jr. ROTC to serve the community. He has worked as the historian and with a group of students he coordinated a massive effort to document the activities of the group so that the students and parents would have a record of this important time in their lives. This group also works around the community at any event that has needed their help including working with the city at the yearly emergency expo.
At Saugus High School he was the person who has drawn the campus map for the last four years. This project was complicated by the fact that the campus was under construction for the last three years. This meant that he had to revise the project innumerable times while under pressure to provide the latest version for events that were going on at the campus. This map is used on the campus as the emergency evacuation plan. It is used at all events to show visitors were classrooms are located and it is published in many school publications. He is known by many of the school staff because of his frequent visits to class rooms to measure the school for updates to the map and has been recognized by principal Bill Bolde but has not been acknowledged in any public forum.
I do hope that this act of kindness and sign of good character can be recognized and feel that since others have apparently not done much to do this that I must be the one to act.

- Black Bart
- In A Clandistine Location On The, Central California Coast, United States
- During the gold rush a highway man became known as Black Bart for his inclusion of an innocent poem in the empty strong boxes when he had liberated them from Wells Fargo stage coaches. He was eventually captured by an detective at Pinkerton and sent to San Quintin. After leaving prison he was never heard from again - until his thoughts stated to appear on a computer at a remote military location. When this computer became obsolete, it was sent to a secret location on the Central California coast where it continues to gain knowledge and to write a thought of the day and sometimes longer thoughts for us all to consider.

this is my second time (or third?) here and i didn't want to intrude because it is such a neat quiet place but today's different, you may consider my ramblings as vague and such. i asked myself this question when i looked at an empty comment box.
do i dare, yes i did dare and do dare and... sorry, just teasing my angel friend's hubby a bit because his entry below this one made me grin from ear to ear. you should get an award for being a PATIENT people's person @ your dayjob.
i remember Angel posting about this map a while back. you should send a letter to the local paper, anonymously, and write about how cool that map is and that it must have been a lot of work and who the person is who drew that map etc etc.
well, say hi to Angel for me lol.
cheerio from across the big pond!
