During the gold rush a highway man became known as Black Bart for his inclusion of an innocent poem in the empty strong boxes when he had liberated them from Wells Fargo stage coaches. He was eventually captured by an detective at Pinkerton and sent to San Quintin. After leaving prison he was never heard from again - until his thoughts stated to appear on a computer at a remote military location. When this computer became obsolete, it was sent to a secret location on the Central California coast where it continues to gain knowledge and to write a thought of the day and sometimes longer thoughts for us all to consider.

As The World Changes

The fact that the people of the world all want to just be left alone does not seem to stop some people from trying to make everyone live by one set of rules.

I do not speak of any one group of people. It seems that most groups of people

want everyone else to live by the rules of their specific group. Not until all of the people of the world realize that the best way for all of the people of the world to survive is for the diversity to exist and for people to find “their own thing” to make them not just happy but individuals. This is not to say that the rule of law can not exist but it must be careful to allow people to have an individual life and yet not allow people to do things that are dangerous to the community as a whole. This means that control of dangerous drugs must be allowed while still allowing those who need to perform research to have access to chemicals to study them all to see if some will be of benefit and to eliminate the rest. It also means that when a person is different it does not mean that the person is dangerous or that they should be made to conform.

As The world changes it seems to remain the same. We do not have to eat, sleep, play or do anything in the same way and if we did it would be a very dull place.
